LGBTQ Equality

hand

PAN seeks to promote respect in LGBTQ issues. In the past, PAN has conducted outreach at Philadelphia's Pride Fest and Philadelphia Outfest in addition to distributing our "Equality Matters" handout.

In keeping with our mission to eradicate oppression of both humans and animals, Peace Advocacy Network (PAN) continues to strengthen its campaign to support the LGBTQ community. As we reach a climactic point for LGBTQ rights here in the US, PAN continues to complement that atmosphere with some exciting events. Whether you are interested in socializing or are a dedicated activist, PAN has something to fulfill your interests.

PAN has issued an open letter to the executive director of the anti-LGBTQ Catholic group, Courage Interntional, a group which attempts to repress and vilify natural human sexuality. Read about it here (press release). We invite you to join us at our protest at Courage's Sports Camp on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 4-6 PM at Wynnewood Road and City Avenue, and we encourage you to help distribute the letter wherever possible. RSVP on Facebook here.

Earlier this year, PAN issued an open letter to Villanova University.

We encourage you to get involved and help us fight discrimination.
